therapy dogs

MKC has many members who are registered Therapy Dog Teams.  A therapy team consists of a Dog and Handler.  If you have a calm, friendly, nice and all around happy dog who is well behaved then Therapy work just might be for you.  Everything the therapy dog teams do, is volunteer and they bring great joy to many people of all ages.  Whether they are visiting a local nursing home, or providing stress relief at colleges, they are always performing an amazing service to their local community and they take pride in what they do both the human and the dog!  If your organization is looking for a team to visit or if you are interested in becoming a therapy team please contact us.
